there’s nothing like waking up and going ‘wow’

when i feel my hamstrings

and then shifting and feeling that little burn in my hips

because i instantly know what day it is because i know i did yoga yesterday

feels so goooood

also, class yesterday was… amazing. i sweat SO MUCH. it was sooo gross, like sweat dripping, and i didn’t have a towel and ;aksdjflkj omg. BUT. but but but. somehow, even though we did some super intense sequences and my heart was beating like a madwoman, i never lost my breath. it was always the same length (except for the beginning & end when it was a lot slower, obvs). but holy crap! it really is amazing what your body can do once you learn how to help it along.
